Chef Muyingo Charles Ssekiziyivu is an award winning, mentor with 30 years of local and International exprience. Trained at the City of London college & Thames Valley University, he spent Seven years at London Heathrow Marriott hotel where he served as Demi chef de Partie and received the employee of the month award. His distinguished career includes preparing meals for World Leaders & dignitaries at 2005 G8 summit in Gleneagles Scotland & served as Lead Chef during CHOGM 2007.Celebrated for his creativity, he received first runner up recognition under Presidential Initiative on Banana Industrial Development for developong an innovative Matyoke Soup.Chef Charles has trainned more than 700 chefs & Mentored Young culinary professionals who have represented Uganda at the World Young Chefs Olympiad in India. Participated at 2025 AFSA Chef’s Gathering in Addis Ababa Ethiopia. Skilled on African, Indian cuisines. Charles currently serves as an Instructor at the Culinary School Uganda.
